I was delighted by this clip - at over eight minutes it is long enough really to give one a feeling of attending a concert given by a jazz orchestra in High Vintesse:

This really is a treat! I knew the show-stopping Tiger Rag finalé, but had not seen the whole concert!

I hope you don't mind my fiddling, but I clipped the clip just slightly to remove the reference to Warner - um - Persons, so this can look completely like a Motherland kinnie.

I am hoping to gather these in a new Light Theater sub-site evench.

I love it! These girls are soooo talented! Wonderful how they each play several instruments.

There are some splendid brunettes here - hee - I am rather taken by the right trombonist - and the drummer.

And they all look as if they are having such fun! Does anyone know all the tunes they are playing?

I think I shall be watching this one often!

I adore this too! The blondes and brunettes seem to be the right color for the most part - but did y'all notice the funny incident starting around 4:30?

The harpist and cellist are doing their soulful rendition of "Mighty Like A Rose" and toward the end the other girls are quietly picking up their banjos for the jinky "Shakin' the Blues Away" number which follows.

The raven blonde violinist sitting next to the cellist puts down her violin and picks up her banjo and accidentally makes a banjo-plunk right in the middle of the cello solo. She looks slightly embarrassed and then composedly pats her bob into place with an air of "Did somebody just make a noise?"

Oh, no Miss Astraea, I did not see that! That poor kitten!
