I recently stumbled across a thing called Liquid Story Binder XE. One can try it free for thirty days, and it is on sale half off for the month of November.

It is a program designed specially for fiction writing. Besides a word processor, it has dictionaries and the ability to create outlines, timelines, storyboards, character profiles, and all sorts of useful things. I think you can even use it to create playlists and play music that you like to write to.

Thank you for this! I have loaded it down and am trying it. Unfortunately, when I tried to start a second "book", it shut down, but I shall continue to experiment. If I can figure out what the problem was and make it run smoothly, it shall be an excellent resource!
