May I wish you all the most happy and glorious Bridgehead Thanksgiving Day.

I think this must be the fifth Bridgehead Thanksgiving since our people became a formal protectorate of the Motherland in this strange and distant world.

It has certainly been the worst year for the community and many of the girls in it, but we think we may one day look back to this year, for all its devastation and unhappiness, as the beginning of truly great things.

There will be a Thanksgiving Service at the Chapel on Saturday at our usual time of Noon PST.

In the meantime to all of you - to the old friends, to the friends I have had the joy of meetig only this year and to those I have not yet met, may I wish you a blessed Thanksgiving.

And let us remember, however hard things have been, the great blessings we have and the glorious future that, through the grace of Dea, lies ahead of us.
