It cannot have escaped your notice that changes are once again taking place at the Fora.

This is mainly because of the failure of HeartBook. The failure was a purely technical one. In the ways that matter, HeartBook was a success and we intend to restore it when the technics are a little more up to it. Currently running a small social network seems to be like running a 1911 auto - you really have to be a mechanic to drive it.

We do believe a Social Network is vital to the next stage of our development and a sort of spiritual bridge between our current Elektra community and our coming renewed on-the-ground presence. That is why we are continuing a slightly more limited one right here in the form of the Sanctuary, and we do ask all of you to pitch in to help make it the success that HeartBook was becoming.

Other rearrangements will take place also. The Chatteries section (right here) is divided into Blue Camellia and the Chatterbox, which have no real distinction in purpose, and we are considering rolling them together, and having another Chattery for more serious discussions. Yes we know how Aristasians are, and how we zoom from serious to silly and back. That is all right. But we do want a) to encourage some serious discussion which has been a little lacking of late (back to work, girls!) and b) give a real distinction so that readers who are looking for chit-chat and those who want to delve into Aristasian Thought know where to go.

We are also planning a Groups section, to replace Heartbook Groups as part of the Social Network area, so that Game Girls, Anime Girls, etc. may have their Forums here. This will actually be an improvement on the way HB handled groups, which was still a bit rudimentary (even when it was working).

The Crucible of Creativity will continue to showcase literature - and other works if y'all want to post them. We are hoping to have a revamped literary site too.

So that is the way the Fora and Social Network are currently shaping up.
