I've just arrived home...I'm so happy, I've met our gorgeous Fraulein Landgrebe!
She's a gorgeous honey brunette and oh so brunette and oh so gorgeous, she welcomed me at the airport with white tulips! I managed to save them, I've treated them with love and care, they're here in my living room now. (In the hotel I kept them in water, I used to change it every day. Only in Amsterdam I had to keep them in the luggage lock for 3 hours...but when I was at the airport, I always brought them to the lavatory to give them some water!)
She took my luggage, offered dinner, train ticket and she protected me from a poor alchohol addict (I guess, or simply lost and confused). She has also gorgeous naturally curly hair and oh so long and curly eyelashes!
And...how funny, we had the same gloves! Hers were grey, mine were purple.
I spent a great time with her. Whoever will meet her, she'll be so lucky!

Oh Miss Viola, you almost made me blush. It was a delight meeting you and a privilege to take you out for dinner. It is not every day that I have a chance to accompany such a pretty blonde. I do wish I could have taken you some place nicer though. Next time you must arrive earlier so I can take you to a decent restaurant in Amsterdam. I am so happy you managed to get the tulips back to Italy. Did you enjoy your stay in Alkmaar?

ohh yes, thank you dear Fraulein Cecile, I had a great time there! I saw my friends and we ate a...I don't know the name, it's an Indonesian-style sandwich with chicken, pineapple, tomato, salad...very yummy!
I ate Indonesian-style food also at Schiphol: there is a "food corner" with Burger King, Chicago Pizza, Hot Wok and another theme. Of course I chose "Hot Wok" and I had a delicious fish soup with coconut milk and chili!
The tulips are still here, they drink a lot of water (I must add 1 small glass of water every day). They are still in great conditions! Great conditions, thinking about their travel...
I left them locked at Amsterdam station next to my luggage for maybe 3 hours. I went to Schiphol and sometimes I gave them some water, but they weren't in a vase.
In the airplane I was lucky enough that the seat next to me was free, so I put them on a proper seat, like they deserved.
As soon as I arrived home (late evening) I put them into a large glass of water with their "food". They survived for 12 hours without water...but they're still with me!

I'll have to return to the Netherlands. I loved Alkmaar, I loved its "bells carillon concert" that I found by pure chance! I love Amsterdam too, though it was too crowded. I immediately searched for a quieter area, for a garden. I hope to return there with more days available!

ohhh how cute! (in a good sense, because abandoned animals are never cute, but this idea is cute!)
Unfortunately not, but this is another good reason to visit Amsterdam again. I also hope I can help those kitties somehow, when I'll be there!
