Ink

Postby Daffodil Finesmith » Sat February 6th, 1:32 am

I do so wish I were able to be about in Virchers when it is convenient for others but it seems I am nearly always missing my sisters. Golly, having a smoke on a castle parapet sounds so delightful!

Anyway, I did happen to come across a most amazing place in Virchers! It is a landscape entirely created by strokes of a brush with ink. It is simple and austere, yet deeply moving. A wonderful place to wander and meditate when alone.*

Oh thank you Miss Madonna, I shall take you up on your kind offer next time I'm exploring in Virchers and pra'ps you'll be able to join me. I don't really mind exploring alone it's just that a joy shared is a joy doubled (just as a burden shared is a burden halved).

Rayati, dear Miss Daff:

How I miss seeing you! I have been thinking about you this weekend, with the snowstorm in your area, and do hope that you are all right. (Actually, I am a bit envious. . . I do love being snowed in!)

What a lovely place. . . thank you for sharing it with us. Hope to see you soon.

WIth love,
JJ

Dear JJ,
Oh my yes, we are quite snowed in and, you are right, I think it is fun too. First we shoveled our way to the street, but the snow was so light and fluffy, it was not so much work after all. But it is so deep! I calculated five shovel scoops to advance six inches.

Then after using our cross country skies to navigate streets to the kinnie rental emporium we made hot cocoa and watched silly Kinnies on the couch.

Rayati,
Miss Daffodil
