Drawn to Life

Postby Sushuri Madonna » Sat November 28th, 12:10 pm

I have been playing Drawn to Life lately - it has been around for a while and can be picked up quite cheaply.

It is a mixture of adventure and platform game - mostly platform but with a cute village area where you interact with people and do various non-platformy things which makes it quite refreshing. But what makes it most different is that you can draw your own heroine with the Déesse stylus, and you get to draw quite a lot of the elements in the game for yourself. Not enough that the whole game looks like shroomy scribble, but enough to be fun. Here is my shroomy character that I drawed all by myself (sorry for the fuzzy shot - taking screenshots with a camera isn't ideal):

You can't see how cleverly she is animated, she sort of flops along in the sweetest silliest way! You can only see my bad drawing. But I love her just the same! and you see the clouds she is standing on (and will be jumping to)? I drew them too!

Incidentally - does anyone like ordie coloring? There are lots of colorable pictures on-line - you can print them out and color them the old-fashioned way, but you can also color them on your ordie in a paint-program. Maccie ordies are the best for coloring because they have real crayons!

Here is the Oddish I colored recently:

Well this isn't the Mushroom patch, but I'll still say - Shroom out!

(and did you see I am almost crowned?)
